St Gabriel’s faith community now uses the buildings of St Charles church and rectory because the buildings of St Gabriel’s church and rectory needed repairs for which the parish did not have sufficient funds.
The buildings were sold and St Gabriel’s parish now pays rent to St Charles parish for the use of their buildings.

A message from our pastor Mgr Roger Dufresne

My friends,

It is a privilege to have been named your pastor nearly two years ago. At the same time I was also named pastor of St Charles parish.

I know the Point quite well, having been in charge of St Charles and other churches in the southwest.

Since I am also pastor of a few other parishes, Father Robert Sirois, whom I know very well, and whose pastoral abilities I have witnessed over the years, has been named curate.

I preside Sunday mass about once a month and I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you then.
